It's been said before but the 20th level freeze sucks!
I wanted to add my name to the complaint list regarding the 20th level freeze. I'm not half way through the Prophecy campaign and have just started Factions and would have just attained level 24. Can you tell me why characters are frozen at level 20? Is there a reason why you could not give the monsters more hit points and higher levels to make them harder to kill?
Base the monsters on the highest character in a party. If a 25th level warrior
is with 5 1st level partners then give us 35th level bosses!
Thanks

You would have just attained level 24...? Are you sure you're playing this game?
Or are you...A BOSS??? /kneel
Eariler on in the game, monsters have pitiful health, because players often have pitiful amounts of experience on playing this specific game when they first start. I wonder why. Later on, it'll get harder.

If you're only halfway through Prophecies and just started Factions, I suggest you wait a while before complaining about how easy the game is. Said before: "Life begins at level 20". Between skill caps, green farms, title hunting, material farming for armors and questing, I think its safe to say you'll find plenty of grind WITHOUT adding more levels to the treadmill.

Yes, we can. The official stance on this issue is that Guild Wars is a game based on player skill and not just time played. A level 20 PvP toon with a few month's experience can easily meet a yearling PvE toon with tweeked out armor and weapons--and win!--if the month old character is being played by a more savy fighter.

The lvl cap is what makes success in this game based on personal skill. Without the cap, the game becomes the infamous Grind Wars.

If it has been said before, then why did you repost it?
